On Saturday night Matt and I went to Pella, a town in Iowa that's full of Dutch culture. It's about 45 minutes from Des Moines, and each year they have a festival, "Tulip Time". We tried out the Dutch food. Matt was a fan of the bolognese on a stick and the brats with sauerkraut. I passed on both (Yuck!) and opted for a pulled pork sandwich. We checked out the tulips, the historic village, the quaint shops, and the Dutch dancers.

Fun, fun. I love Pella. We went Friday night. Got hit by a little rain but other than that had a great time. Sounds like you did too.
