For the last year or so Matt and I have been playing tennis together fairly often during the summer.Matt's job while we play: Try to hit everything as easily to Erin as possible (because he is much better than me).
Erin's job: Try to hit it over the net within the courts' boundaries
It's been a huge challenge for me–until Wednesday–when playing became slightly easier.
We started out as usual, just hitting the ball back and forth, and we both noticed that my hits were better aimed and more consistent. What a surprise! Then I noticed that I was using my right hand! (I'm left handed and usually switch back and forth between favoring my left or right side when playing sports, but I decided last year just to use my left hand for tennis.)
I opted to forgo using my left arm for the rest of the time we played. It wasn't nearly as frustrating this way! I even beat Matt a few times (but he was still going very, very easy on me). My cockiness escalated until Matt started busting out his real moves and totally killed me. But it was still fun.
Anybody like playing tennis? Let's play (but only if you're not really good). I don't want to bore you to death.

We should go play a game of doubles sometime. I used to play years ago and Jacob is always asking to go play. Of course we would need to invest in some rackets first.
We love to play tennis (and I'm not good!) so we'll have to play doubles in the fall when we get back from Iowa Falls. It's awesome how active you and Matt are.
Your tennis game sounds about how Nate and I play. We would love to play sometime. I am excited for you guys to come back. It seems that everyone is gone from Iowa these days. Plus soon we will be neighbors and you will never be able to get rid of us! Hope your travels are safe. See you soon.
