Shawn Johnson + West Des Moines, Iowa = BFFLast night a few friends and I attended the welcome home event for Shawn Johnson. (It was pretty embarrassing how teary I was getting over everything…but I should have expected as much. Every time an award was given during the olympics, I'd tear up like no other. Matt thinks I'm crazy. But I'm not.)

Oh I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one that gets teary eyed during the medal ceramonies. Today I got teary eyed while they where playing some tribut to her over the radio. Jacob thinks it's funny too.
Yeah, I'm a crier, too... Olympics and graduations do it every time...
I'm glad we got to go- it was fun- Evan was definitely teary-eyed, but for different reasons...:)
How fun! I so wanted to go to that. I found myself getting teary eyed way too much too!
