High School Friends

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

Melissa Holm, Erin (Zane) Pitcher, Keli Thurman, Heidi (Winterton) Atwood, and Kim (Belcher) Bradshaw

On December 21 a few friends from high school got together. It'd been way too long! I hadn't seen some of these friends in almost three years. C-RAZY!

It's always fun to reconnect with old friends, to sync past with present, and realize time and again the people thoughout my life that have largely impacted the person I am today and the person I hope to become.

A few of my friends have babies that are a bit older than Skylie. I'm sure it won't be long before history repeats itself, and these babes are fast friends and breaking all the boys' hearts—just like their mamas, right? ;)

Melissa (recently returned from serving a mission in Washington) and Skylie. I hadn't seen Mel since we moved to Des Moines!

Routinely we get our guy friends from high school to tell us all the girls' they liked in high school. Here's Kyle's confession in action. He cracks Matt and me up like no other.

I count these friends among my many blessings.

And again (Kim has this pic on her blog too)- everyone else looking normal and cute and I'm all decked out in my Bethlehem outfit. I guess I've never been one to conform with everyone else. :)

Ah you guys are still so cute! Even cuter than high school I think. And you all are getting babies and getting back from missions. I'm so old! I loved this post.
