This will be our travels from October 18-25. Seriously crazy. Originally, Skylie and I were just going to fly out to visit Matt and do some sight seeing in D.C. before our trek home.
Then residency programs invited Matt to come interview and plans changed.
The travels will consist of:
- Me and Skylie flying to Richmond, Virginia
- Visiting three long-time friends and one cousin
- Matt finishing a rotation in Richmond
- Driving from Virginia to New York, then Indiana, and finally coming back to Iowa
- Matt interviewing at three residency programs (Buffalo, NY; Syracuse, NY; Indianapolis, IN)
- Matt and I attending three dinners with the residents
- Sightseeing for mmm...one day...in Palmyra and Niagara Falls
Wish us luck! We'll need it!
P.S. If anyone has family or friends in Syracuse and/or Buffalo, will you let me know? I'm searching for babysitters, because there is no way I'm taking Skylie to dinner with the residents.

How fun. I love road trips! Jacob and I did Palmyra and Niagra Falls in one day when we were first married. We somehow managed to fit them both in. So it is possible.
Erin, Jordan and I live in Rochester, New York which is right between Syracuse ad Buffalo. We would be happy to have you guys stay at our house if you need a place to stay one night.
