Before and After

Dining Table
BeforeAfter
A while ago we sold the old one that we'd gotten for free and bought this one off Craigslist for just a little bit more. It has a leaf so we can fit eight people, easy. Love it! Right after we got it, Matt caught me all the time just sitting on the couch oogling at the table. I'm pretty sure I was more excited about this upgrade than....

Matt's Transportation to School
BeforeAfter

(Okay, he still rides his bike a lot, but you get the idea.) We'll need a second car in August when Matt starts his rotations, so when some friends from church were selling their 1999 Mercury Sable for super cheap, we jumped at it.

Baby Crib
BeforeAfter
We got this crib off Craigslist in January, but the finish wasn't working for me. So I busted out the sander, primer, and spray paint. And whalah! Now all my oogling goes to the baby's room.

Wow! Nice job on refinishing the crib. It looks great. Now the questions is do you get to fill it with pink or blue. Can't wait to find out.

That's awesome that you got a new table and car and you redid the crib (which looks very nice, by the way).

Yea for a 2nd car!! It's so nice & convienent to have 2 - and your crib looks awesome! I haven't purchased anything yet - I'm overwhelmed by all the options and not knowing what I want - but your crib looks great!! And I hear you on the kitchen table - we still have only 4 folding chairs as our sweet set. It's lovely ;).

And any ideas or preferences on what you're having?? Yea for Thursday!!! ;)

I love the crib- the baby room is way cute- and will only get cuter! So you find out in 2 days? How exciting!
So, I just read your post about if you'll have more or less time after you have the baby.... so that is a good question. I think I agree with Chrissy on how emotionally exhausting having a baby can be. When you first have the baby if you're nursing it will take a lot of time, and for me it seemed like once I finished nursing I only had an hour and a half or so until the next nursing. That took a lot of my time! So I totally recommend sleeping when they sleep- even though you'll feel like you should use the time to cook or clean, SLEEP or shower! But maybe you won't be as tired, so you'll probably be whipping up all kinds of goodies right away! I think it's different for everyone, but it's true that as they grow you adjust your schedule and get some more time. So that's my random two cents. Can't wait to hear what you're having!
