During the day, Skylie and I played at the pool, walked around the neighborhood, read books, and watched a video of her first year. When Matt finished working, we took Skylie to dinner, opened presents, ate cupcakes, and Webcammed with Grandma and Grandpa Zane.
Skylie made fast friends at the restaurant by flashing her cheesy grin at everyone she could get to look her direction. She loved her birthday brownie and ice cream and ate so much that the cupcake at the motel later that night didn't even catch her eye.
Most of the pictures from our trip are on Matt's computer, so this is the best I can offer until later.
