28 Big Ones

I'm not sure how a teenager could make such a great choice, but my decision to marry Matt couldn't have been better. It was by far the best decision I'll ever make.

Happy birthday to the old man. Matt turns 28 today.

We've spent his last six birthdays together. While I can't speak for Matt—in my opinion—they've been the best! Here's a recap of the last few birthdays of this birthday boy.

2005
Surprise party
During the day he'd been given or found 23 Easter eggs. Inside each egg was a reason I liked him. (I have yet to think of something that tops that on the cute-o-meter.)

2006
Cake with the Service Activities Council
Matt was head honcho.

2007
Lunch with Erin's family
This was one of many celebrations since we lived in Utah at the time.

2008
Touring Chicago with Nate and Megan Rencher
Shopping. Eating at China Town. Ed Debevics. Blue Man Group.

2009
Dining-in due to our Babymoon in Minneapolis the week prior
Matt spent most of the day in board prep classes.

Happy Birthday, Matt!
