Meet Bob

My love.
(He's a close second behind Matt, Skylie, family, friends…)

We met on Craigslist at 2:00 a.m. Monday morning. It was love at first sight. The front swivel wheel made my heart pitter-patter, and the promise of an easy to maneuver jogging stroller made my head spin with excitement. He really is an elitist when it comes to strollers.

I'd been eyeing the brand new model of his friend, Bob Ironman, and was about to fork out the dough. Then he came along, for a mere fraction of the price.

Bob promises to:

  • Keep me sane during the 4+ months Matt is traveling. (Not to mention right now, when Matt's leaving for rotations before 6:00 a.m. and arriving home in the evening needing to put in hours of studying. Have I mentioned that I'm not a fan of his General Surgery rotation?)
  • Accompany me and Skylie on our runs and walks. That is, if temperatures above freezing ever grace Iowa, again.
  • Cruise the shopping isles with me. Maybe he'll remind me not to buy anything, because who could ask for more when I've got Bob?

And I promise to:

  • Love and cherish Bob (until Baby #2 comes along, and we outgrow him).
  • Spend quality time with him every day.

This is just the beginning of a long, loving relationship. Happy late/early birthday to me!

P.S. I do understand that Bob is an inanimate object. But if you really got to know him, you'd love him as much as I do.

Congratulations!!! Nice find! I have heard wonderful things about Bob. I think you'll love him. I am a strong believer that a stroller is the one place it is worth get something nicer. I can't wait until the weather gets nicer so we can all get outside.

Oh, Erin to a degree I think I totally understand. When my mom bought me a babyjogger brand stroller when I had Alec I was skeptical at first, but as soon as the sun came out and the snow started melting it became my favorite baby accessory ever... and even though we out grew ours all too soon I'm still holding on to it. I still use it, just not as often, but it's Oh So Smooth, so easy to use, and such a comfy ride for the little one!

That's funny, I just emailed you saying you could borrow my jogger you get one, but I guess now you don't need to! That's exciting. We're getting our double stroller soon-isn't it so exciting it's almost spring and walking time again! We'd love to meet bob and go on walks with him!

I LOVE my Bob. Get the handlebar console, too. It's a lifesaver for stashing phones, sippy cups, keys, etc.

It's definitely not September 29th. (I only know that because I remembered my little sister is exactly the same age as you. She also happens to be pregnant, so maybe soon she'll want a Fred or Jim of her own.)
