"I hope I haven't gotten myself in over my head."
The next 16 hours would consist of:
6:00 p.m. -- Attending baptism
7:00 p.m. -- Attending Utah Valley Children's Choir concert
8:15 p.m. -- Housing four teenagers from the choir for the night
7:30 a.m.-- Feeding teenagers breakfast
8:00 a.m. -- Taking teenagers to their buses with lunches in hand
9:30 a.m. -- Hosting Primary class party
The baptism was great. And the concert was, too.
But my jaw dropped when I learned:
WE'D BE HOUSING EIGHT TEENAGE GIRLS.
Seriously, eight?!? Our apartment is 890 sq. feet!
But thanks to the vacant (and unlocked) apartment across the hall, it all turned out a-okay. That's illegal, no doubt about it.
Matt's had more than his share of estrogen to last a lifetime, but he's stuck with me and Sky, so I'm sure he'll cope with it.
Here's the eight beauties from the choir that graciously stayed with us and didn't complain a bit about the lowly living standards we provided them.
If Skylie grows up to be like these girls, I'll be one proud mama.

Hello busy weekend! I love that you signed up for this - for real. And way to use advantageous living space! I think it was a genius idea! I remember being on Choir Tour in college and some fantastic people hosting us just like you did. I bet they loved hanging out with y'all!! Haha, poor Matt and all that estrogen!!
And sorry to hear your week (or last post) was crazy awful. I'm a little behind on blogging to say the least - but here's hoping you've been having fantastic days since!
