Yesterday I came home from work and...
Matt had put together a scavenger hunt for me, which led to Texas Sheet Cake that he'd made. By the cake was a note reading, "Will you go with me to Gala?".
It totally made my day.
(Gala is a formal dance Des Moines University puts on for the students. It's like prom but a million times nicer.)

Oh, I wish somebody would ask me to the Gala. (Maybe I should post this comment on my own blog.) Matt is so sweet. I'm excited to go I think it will be a blast. Heck a night with out kids, it has to be fun.
